Unknown garrigue plant ID'd by Oron as Teucrium brevifolium

This shrub grows in the garrigue part of our garden. It looks a bit like a Teucrium. It flowers in winter (the photos were taken in January). Can anyone identify it?

It is a Teucrium;
Teucrium brevifolium.

This is one of my favourite Cretan plants. So stunning in full flower and can vary quite a bit in colour. Shame it has such a short season and looks aren't that great throughout the summer!

Just planted a couple of them in a mixed succulents bed next to an
Agave univittata
(syn. lophantha) 'Quadricolor' for contrast.
