Unknown garrigue plant ID'd by Oron as Teucrium brevifolium

This shrub grows in the garrigue part of our garden. It looks a bit like a Teucrium. It flowers in winter (the photos were taken in January). Can anyone identify it?

It is a Teucrium;

Teucrium brevifolium.
Garden Designer, Bulb man, Botanical tours guide.
Living and gardening in Tivon, Lower Galilee region, North Israel.
Min temp 5c Max 42c, around 450mm rain.

This is one of my favourite Cretan plants. So stunning in full flower and can vary quite a bit in colour. Shame it has such a short season and looks aren't that great throughout the summer!

Just planted a couple of them in a mixed succulents bed next to an Agave univittata (syn. lophantha) 'Quadricolor' for contrast.
