Zagoria
« on: June 23, 2012, 05:36:10 PM »
Just back from holiday in Greece staying at Sivota. From here we spent a few days in Zagoria. I would like to share a few pictures of this stunning landscape.

Thanks for those smashing pictures, Pat! And great to see that Ramonda serbica - your bottom picture. I'll get Oron on to those orchids....  ;)

Thank you Oron for your identification, I had 50% correct but I am still using the Davies and Huxley book 1983 and there have been many name changes since then and I am sure there will be more.

I enjoyed your photos from Zagoria very much, I have very good memories from that trip as well, it was the first time I met other MGS members, and it opened up a new world to me.
