How to post (and correct) a message
« on: July 09, 2011, 07:18:08 PM »
Once you have joined the Forum and been approved, it's easy to post messages.
You may want to join an existing discussion or "thread". For that, when you are looking at the messages that you want to add to or reply to, just click on the Reply tab on the top right. A screen will open showing the Subject, which you probably won't want to change, then a note saying that the Message icon is Standard (don't change that, either), then three rows of symbols, which tell you what they do if you hover your cursor over them. Skip all that! Just write your message into the text box, which appears under the row of little faces.
Adding a photo is simple: click here to see how.
When the message is as you want it, click on the Post button at the bottom of the screen (to see it you may have to scroll down using the scroll bar on the right).
If you are starting an entirely new topic, choose the right part of the Forum for it carefully, go to that part of the Forum, and click on the New Topic button, then follow the same steps - except this time you'll have to write a title in the Subject line.
When the message has been posted on the Forum, and you look at it yourself, you may want to change it. That's easy, too. With the message on the screen, click on the little Modify button on the top right.
