Lachenalia
« on: March 13, 2012, 10:51:43 AM »
Whilst looking for other pics I came across this Lachenalia which I realised was wrongly labelled. Rather than spend ages trying to find out what it could be I thought I'd throw it open to discussion. Any ideas?

Certainly looks like a good likeness. Other opinions?

In flower shape looks also similar to L. mutabilis and L. violacea. See pics.

Ho dear, I think I'll let this one run for a while before I attach a name to it.

John,
Did you ever decide what your mystery lachenalia was?
Here are a couple in flower now:
Lachenalia concordiana
Lachenalia bolusii x 2
I grew them from Silver Hills Seeds many years ago,
cheers
