We need know more about the plant, because 'cedar' could include not just true Cedrus species, but also things like Port Orford Cedar (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana), western red cedar (Thuja plicata), incence cedar (Calodecrus) and Juniperus spp. Can you provide more of the name and/or a photo including the needles?
