LAVATERA?
« on: November 15, 2018, 08:26:17 AM »
I snapped this flowering bush when we went to the local plant nursery to stock up with 'new' tiny cacti.
I failed to snap the information notice attached to the plant and the name seemed too difficult for me to  remember.
Since I always have a notebook and pencil* with me why didn't I note down the name?
Anyway does anyone know the name of this plant?

Anisodontea elegans
We saw this flower at the local plant nursery but I omitted to note its name. A month later it was still there, forlorn among the Christmas trees for sale, so I took a photo of its label

Anisodontea malvastroides is mentioned in THE MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN number 59, January 2010 in

Photo of the plant label for Anisodontea elegans
I do like the yellow flower 'reading' the label
