This Acacia dealbata grows in several of the pavements and " gardens " or yards  of Corinth.
There has always been a severe lack of water here so I doubt if any of these trees get any water now and probably very little when they were young.
There was one in the back yard of the block of flats but one of the flat owners pruned it about a week before it was due to blossom and successfully killed it.

Over the many years I have lived in London I have seen this species come and go. There were two winters, well apart from each other where they were all killed outright regardless of their size. There are now plenty of quite large specimens again.

Acacia farnesiana

Acacia farnesiana.
Several  of these trees are growing in the pavements of Corinth.
They were planted by the owners of the adjacent houses.
One in particular is a pleasant symmetrical shape. It was well watered when it was young but I don't think it gets any care now.
I had planted one in the back yard of the block of flats but it didn't survive a small boys' football match

Acacia pycnantha

I hope I have got the name right.
This Acacia pycnantha is growing in the yard of the block of flats.
It was planted 16years ago and bought at a local nursery.
I can't say I have seen any more round Corinth.
The first year it got a lot of watering and has more or less been ignored since then.
I give it a watering now and then when trying to boost another tree in the vicinity.
It also drips some sticky stuff onto cars

Acacia karroo Hayne
This Acacia is growing in the grounds of the Ancient Agora in Athens.
I have seen a smaller  one in the Sainopoulio Gardens outside Sparta

Pepinieres CAVATORE in  Les Mimosas de Bormes, France offer over 100 Acacia species. They should have supplies of the  new sport "Scarlet Blaze", a red cultivar of A. leprosa which was found growing wild in Victoria, Australia recently.

 I have gardened in sub-tropical Florida, maritime UK, continental Europe and the Mediterranean basin, France. Of the 4 I have found that the most difficult climate for gardening is the latter.
