Unusual plants

Not a geophyte but an epiphyte, Medinilla magnifica (Philippines Orchid). When we saw this unusual plant on offer in one of the nurseries that we frequent we couldn't resist giving it a go.
Cyprus Branch Head. Gardens in a field 40 m above sea level with reasonably fertile clay soil.

I looked it up and there is even a postage stamp, not in my collection,  featuring it

Living in Korinthos, Greece.
No garden but two balconies, one facing south and the other north.
Most of my plants are succulents which need little care
