purple/ mauve escapee

We saw this purple / mauve plant at Monodendri, Epirus.
It was growing in a large pot on a veranda.
I took the photos of the escapee growing on the ground below the veranda.
I did try to identify it but seem to have lost my notes
Any ideas anyone?

It looks very much like a plant I saw in Tsangarada, Pilion in October, which I guess is  Impatiens balfourii.

Many thanks

I read that it grows in cool, moist areas at an altitude of 100- 600 meters so not suitable for my balconies.

I found more photos of it here

I don't know if this Greek website is in English also
