Mare West, Corinthia, Greece

Mare West is a shopping mall built on the site of a defunct factory  not far out of Corinth. Since the site is by the sea it is quite often very windy and the planting was done with this in mind. I have not tried or been able to find out the names of the plants so if anyone wants to add some information it would be gladly accepted.
I like the photo of the shadow from a newly planted tree and love the photo of the Tree Mallow growing outside the barrier next to the sea.
The photos were taken in April this year

At the beginning of November, we went to Mare West ostensibly to do some shopping but actually for me to check on the plants
The Lavender is doing fantastically well.
The Stipa had been shaped into a fan shape in the children’s playground but elsewhere was left in its natural state
The yellow lantana mixed with the Pittosporum tobira looked interesting
The blue flower, I don’t know its name, was a straggly little thing the last time I saw it but appears to be doing very l well

Hilary they are certainly doing well. I think your unknown blue flower is a Salvia but I have forgotten its name.  I am sure somebody will inform you of its name soon.
I garden in Cyprus, in a flat old farming field, alt. approx. 30 m asl.

The beds with the Lavender, Oleander and blue flower looked newly planted in November 2019
I thought the planting was very sparse but see how the plants have thrived?

What a difference in two years!
