Autumn flowers Epirus confirmed as Sternbergia by Fleur and Hilary

These autumn flowers were spotted on an inaccessible cliff somewhere in Epirus, northern Greece.
One of my husband's walking friends keeps asking me about the yellow 'Cyclamen' and doesn't believe me when I tell him what I think they are. So I am asking all you experts at the Forum to give your opinion which I hope he will then  believe!

Yes it's Sternbergia.  Someone we walk with called them yellow cyclamen too. I'm his boss's wife so he had to believe me when I pointed out his mistake.
