Pink rose

Those of you who look at the MGS FaceBook page will have seen today's photo of a pink rose.
Quite by coincidence I came back from a walk to the shops with this photo.
This rose is growing in the yard of an abandoned house, never watered, never pruned and seemingly survived the unusual snowfall we had last week.

The wall, by the way, is grey not the blue in the photo

No garden but two balconies, one facing south and the other north.
Most of my plants are succulents which need little care

On the subject of roses, Hilary, I took this photo today of an early flower on our Rosa mutabilis.
Cyprus Branch Head. Gardens in a field 40 m above sea level with reasonably fertile clay soil.
