NOW SOLVED: Guess what this is 9

I am glad Alisdair came up with something even I was able to guess, the Phytolacca. Here is another one that I suppose many of you will recognize.

Is it an Hibiscus or another genera such as Alcea? I assume Malvaceae is correct?

Correct family, but wrong genus. I'm sure you have seen it.

Of course, you were there when the photo was taken in Crete last autumn. I said it was an easy one.
