Absolutely
Retired veterinary surgeon by training with a PhD in parasitology,  but worked as a virologist since 1992.

My "clue" was maybe a bit too obvious. I'd originally been tempted by "Makes me think of an apple pudding for some obscure reason" but thought that was too cryptic!
