The cover illustration of THE MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN number 13,. Summer 1998 is by Derek Toms based on a photograph supplied by Joanna Millar.

The subject being Villa Ephrussi Rothschild.

I have just been asked about the state of the Palm trees at Villa Ephrussi.
Does anyone know?

 Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any reference to the name of this garden

No indication is given of where this scene is but I thought you might like to read
