Autumn rains at last

So nice to see raindrops on plants after many dusty months. We had our first rains since spring on Oct 23rd - 50mm in 45 minutes.
Amateur gardener who has gardened in north London and now gardens part of the year on the Cycladic island of Paros. Conditions: coastal, windy, annual rainfall 350mm, temp 0-35 degrees C.

This morning we woke to what I call a politician sky, promises a lot but delivers very little. However this afternoon this happened, the first real rain that we've had for 12 months!!
Cyprus Branch Head. Gardens in a field 40 m above sea level with reasonably fertile clay soil.
