3 more plants for identification please - no 1

I have never seen this plant flower so all I can give you is this photo. Thick, fleshy succulent-type leaves which died back to ground level. Thinking it was dead I went to throw it out only to find 3 healthy bulbs in the pot. It has since sprouted these new leaves without being in a pot and as soon as I put the bulbs back into soil fresh roots sprang out. Any ideas as to where I could start looking?
I have a small garden in Rome, Italy. Some open soil, some concrete, some paved. Temperatures in winter occasionally down to 0°C. Summer temperatures up to 40°C in the shade. There are never watering restrictions but, of course, there is little natural water for much of June, July and August.
