I have just got back from a visit to the UK and imagine my surprise and delight to find not one but two flowers open simultaneously on my Anacampseros rufescens. Finally keeping the plant has paid off after the previous disappointing years.
I have a small garden in Rome, Italy. Some open soil, some concrete, some paved. Temperatures in winter occasionally down to 0°C. Summer temperatures up to 40°C in the shade. There are never watering restrictions but, of course, there is little natural water for much of June, July and August.

Yes, far from a disappointment! Those super flowers look more like something you'd find on a cistus than a succulent.
