I have just got back from a visit to the UK and imagine my surprise and delight to find not one but two flowers open simultaneously on my
Anacampseros rufescens
. Finally keeping the plant has paid off after the previous disappointing years.

I have a small garden in Rome, Italy. Some open soil, some concrete, some paved. Temperatures in winter occasionally down to 0°C. Summer temperatures up to 40°C in the shade. There are never watering restrictions but, of course, there is little natural water for much of June, July and August.

Yes, far from a disappointment! Those super flowers look more like something you'd find on a cistus than a succulent.
