Poppies, daisies, dusty millers and primulas all mixed up on a small mound at the side of the road

Purple pansies, yellow Primulas, blue Forget me nots and a couple of tulips in the Square du Vert Galant in Paris.
Just the place for a picnic in hot  and sunny Paris  in April

By coincidence I'm reading The Bones of Paris, a crime book by Laurie King set in Paris in 1929, in which the square du Vert Galant features quite frequently - I'll visualise it with your primulas etc next time it crops up!
