Not all of the Canal de Isabel ll park, in Madrid, was 'manicured' to perfection.
This area, next to what looks like a water reservoir, must have been inaccessible as there was  untidy grass and this flowering bush.
Can anyone tell, from a distance, just which plant the bush is?

Hello. It looks like Cistus ladanifer. Specially if it´s flowering right now in May.
Gardening in west Spain. Recently taken over an olive grove. Wet, mild winters with drought condition summers. Trying to use as little water as possible.
