It is the time of the Magnolia.
We saw this one in a small yard in Sparta at the end of March

Living in Korinthos, Greece.
No garden but two balconies, one facing south and the other north.
Most of my plants are succulents which need little care

Another Magnolia, this time in the Retiro park, Madrid.
A sole small tree near one of the lakes.

We saw this Magnolia tree in one of the gardens of the Paris mosque.
The flowers growing out of the tree trunk surprised us

Beautiful and impressive tree alas not suitable for our garden.
I garden in Cyprus, in a flat old farming field, alt. approx. 30 m asl.
