Well done for posting it on the forum, Mike, but I can only take credit for circulating it to MGS members in Cyprus. It was brought to my attention by Jill Yakas, the MGS Treasurer, in Greece.

Many thanks Mike for posting the information about the Gaurdian article regarding Oron and Mansour. Lovely to know their project is attracting attention - always good to catch up with friends made through the MGS and recall happy memories of time spent with them. Oron's knowledge and enthusiasm are well known to those of us fortunate enough to have spent time with him at MGS events
Interesting to read John that Oron's interest in plants was sparked by a teacher who tried to introduce her pupils to the joys of growing bulbs - this has given me renewed impetus in my efforts to get something going in my local school, something I know you are particularly keen on. If we only help to "produce" one new  Oron here and there our efforts will have been well worth while.
