Film screening (Sonoran desert)

On the evening of Sat 28th Feb I and a number of other MGS members joined the audience in the Cine Studio of the University of NIcosia for a screening of a film featuring the Sonoran Desert. The screening was arranged by the Cyprus Cactus & Succulent Society (CCSS), whose President is also a member of the MGS, as are other CCSS members. The film claims to cover 5 seasons in the desert year, Summer being divided into two (Wet Summer and Dry Summer) the distinction being incontrovertibly obvious as the film progresses. I cannot recommend this film highly enough, there is no narrative to distract from the amazing photography, with the natural soundtrack and mood music linking perfectly together. If you get the opportunity to view this film don't miss it.
