MGS Excursion: Spring trip to Cyprus
« on: October 05, 2014, 02:26:56 PM »
Visit Cyprus in the spring and see the Island of Aphrodite in all its glory.
The aim of this trip is to present a balanced mix of horticultural experiences. Alongside a number of Nature walks and visits to gardens, both private and botanical, we will look at a variety of important environmental projects. Also included on the itinerary are an establishment that practices Permaculture methods, a chance to take part in a hands-on workshop conducted by a qualified herbalist and the opportunity to explore some aspects of the island's varied history and cultures.
The journey will begin in the east of Cyprus, in the Larnaca District, before moving up to the mountain villages of the Troodos massif and ending in the western District of Paphos.
The proposed dates of the excursion are Tuesday 21 April to Tuesday 28 April 2015.
For more information and/or to express an interest in joining this trip please e-mail either mgsforeignexcursions@gmail.com or mgsvicepresident@gmail.com.
