Blooms for August

A spray of Rosa Buff Beauty over Aster x frikartii Monch, in a tangle of Verbena bonariensis.
This is cheating a bit, as all of these, have been flowering for months ;D But they are still looking as fresh as daisies in over 100 degrees farenheit temperatures, every day.

The same rose, this time in front of a young Cotinus coggryia. Notice how the colour of the rose looks different. I haven't done anything to the photos. Perhaps it is the background makes the difference. It's not the time of day, both photos were taken this morning, within seconds of each other.

Thanks for those lovely pictures, Daisy!
I hope they'll encourage more people to post ones from their gardens now, month by month.
Really nice, and encouraging.
