Orange beetle ID'd by Oron as Hycleus (Mylabris) scabiosae

I'm not sure if this is a pest or just a colourful visitor in our garden, it seems to prefer chicory, at least that's where I found the one I photographed here. Does anybody know the name of this beetle? It may be  in the Chrysomelidae family, possibly a Crioceris sp., but if so, which one? It is large, I would guess 2-2.5 cm long, with fairly long antennas.

Thank you, Oron. It's a good idea not to touch it/squash it then, since it may give you blisters?
