This is a quiz for John J since he went 'troppo' with the custard apple. All other suggestions welcome. The photo was taken in the Singapore Botanic Garden in March this year. It has no place on an MGS forum, except to illustrate the Other, how tropical species differ from Med. Examples.

Hi Joanna,
I wonder if that's the same Cannon Ball Tree I photographed in the Singapore Botanical Gardens in Tanglin way back in the early 1970s? Couroupita guianensis.
Cyprus Branch Head. Gardens in a field 40 m above sea level with reasonably fertile clay soil.
