Anemone coronaria cyanea

Came across these yesterday while walking near Lakkos. The field looked stunning in the sunshine. I think they are probably quite early since we've had a fair amount of rain and it's still warm.

It must've been a great delight to see them, Katerina!
I aim to have Anemones naturalised like that one day - we saw them like that at Ashwood Nursery when we visited in April 2011 before the Alpines Conference,

We have lots flowering now in the "natural" part of our garden (not planted). Mainly the whitish ones, some purples and the occasional pink. A cheerful sight.
