A Myrtacea to be ID
« on: December 12, 2013, 11:51:14 AM »
Hello, i took these photos just two days ago in a garden on Menton (near Nice, France). I think it is an australian myrtacea, perhaps a Leptospermum, perhaps a Chamelaucium. Moreover it can be well an hybrid as many other plants in that garden...can you help me in it identification?
I love and viisite gardens on the french and italian coast and i love photography.

Many many thanks! It 's definitely a Thryptomene, may not T. calycina. More likely a Thryptomene saxicola 'FC Payne' (Thryptomene paynei)
