Perennial plant ID'd by Oron as Salvia dominica

 Grows 1/2 metre wide and high.
White flower bracts  in spring and summer
Green leaf , velvety in texture
Requires a good prune to keep good shape
? salvia ???

After reciving other photos from Glenda i have identified the plant as Salvia dominica, an Eastern Mediterranen species.
The dry leaves sre used by the Beduins to make a lovely tea.
