Roldana petasitis
« on: March 13, 2019, 03:09:32 PM »
My fried Michalis came to visit yesterday and took photos. I am posting the ones of the Roldana petasitis.  I am very proud of the fact that I managed to keep it alive through the hot dry summer. I acquired it by exchanging a succulent  in a pot for three cuttings.  One died but i have another small one growing in the shade. It has a history.  The old gentleman that gave me the cuttings told me that his old father worked as a gardener years ago in the now Presidential Palace in Nicosia.  He also has a ginormous Erithrina...?  which he offered me a cutting but I declined the offer as I could get one from the Nursery.
I garden in Cyprus, in a flat old farming field, alt. approx. 30 m asl.

No garden but two balconies, one facing south and the other north.
Most of my plants are succulents which need little care
