Our meager crop
« on: October 02, 2017, 11:30:18 AM »
I am posting some photos of our Summer and Autumn crop.  Due to lack of Water in the Winter, our mango tree produced a solitary fruit.  Rather small in size but highly perfumed and tasty.  We had also two melons which appeared in the 'recycling' patch.  Both small but OK in flavour.  I don't know the name of our new now cropping guava tree. The seeds came from a fruit which I collected in the Crete AGM.  The fruit is bigger than the strawberry guava but also sweeter. More importently maggot free unlike our figs this year.

I garden in Cyprus, in a flat old farming field, alt. approx. 30 m asl.
