The Archaeological Museum in Sparta is set in a green garden shaded by palm trees.

No garden but two balconies, one facing south and the other north.
Most of my plants are succulents which need little care

Also worth visiting in Sparti is the Museum of the Olive and Olive Oil. It is a nice piece of modern architecture, and has fascinating displays, including various types of Olive trees planted in the outside display area.  http://www.oliveoilmuseums.gr/ecportal.asp?id=49&nt=19&lang=2
