Identification problem for this Lamiaceae ID'd by Alevin as Salvia verticillata

I saw this plant in Val Joanis Garden, in Provence (june 2012).
I think it's a Lamiaceae but I don't find its name.
Perhaps a Salvia or a Nepeta ? The leaves are not very aromatic.

It looks like a Salvia verticillata.
