Previously I had grown lemongrass in a large pot with disappointing results, this year I planted it out and it has really gone beserk! it loved the weather and although needed frequent watering has been a great success, attractive grass and very fragrant well worth a spot in your garden somewhere.

Its a summer bedding plant in the Languedoc.

I have gardened in sub-tropical Florida, maritime UK, continental Europe and the Mediterranean basin, France. Of the 4 I have found that the most difficult climate for gardening is the latter.

I have several clumps of Lemon Grass dotted in an area with other grasses. It gets little or no water in summer and survives the winter no problem.
