I am sure I do not need to recommend the fantastic Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, but I would like to recommend the 1 hour boat trip from Kew to Westminster for anybody lucky enough to be visiting Kew. The 1st afternoon boat departs Kew at 3.30pm, just perfect after a morning at the Gardens and a leisurely lunch. Only 12 people aboard when I did this last week with my Mother.
