Title: Invasive plants that displace native plants (Zoysia?…)
Post by: Guenther on November 20, 2021, 03:13:10 AM
ZOYSIA JAPONICA, is an alternative for grass-lawn,  it grows 20 cm a year, you have to cut 4-5 times a year and it is green in hot summer.

Disadvantages: aggressive root runners that displace other grasses, which penetrate every flower bed and multiply wildly with roots 25-50cm deep.

Who has good/bad experience with it?

No experience but it sounds dangerously invasive 😟
