Title: Pistacia lentiscus
Post by: Hilary on September 06, 2020, 07:47:16 AM
Pistacia lentiscus, Mastic Tree, Σχίνος

My son M took his daughters to Sounion tο see the temple and the place where Aegeus jumped into the sea and drowned when he thought his son, Theseus, had been killed by the Minotaur. The sea was then named after him, the Aegean

My son at the same time took photos of this Pistacia lentiscus bush with the white columns in the background

There is no shortage of articles in THE MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN mentioning Pistacia lentiscus I have chosen ANNUS MIRABILIS
