Title: Bryophyllum daigremontianum
Post by: Hilary on May 15, 2020, 05:57:07 AM
Bryophyllum daigremontianum, Mexican Hat Plant

Apparently, this plant is sometimes called Kalanchoe daigremontiana

This was in a pot at the Town Square coffee shop which I used to frequent.
Since May 2018 the square was cordoned off and most of the trees and plants taken away. There is a plan for a newly designed square and indeed the work did start, then it stopped, then it started again. I don’t know if the work is continuing but it will be a long time before I we will be able to go to my friend’s coffee shop again

The plant, however, went to a good home

Kalanchoe is mentioned in THE MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN number 28, April 2002 in
