Title: Climber or hedge for small town house garden
Post by: Johanna on October 21, 2019, 10:44:20 PM
Perhaps you can guide me a little bit about other climbers here in the Mediterranean. I am a mecenat when it comes to planting in the Mediterranean.
I have a south-west facing high wall which I will clothe with climbers. I want something else than trachelospermum on this second wall (Trachelospermum asiaticum seems as a really good choice for the other wall, thanks). I am thinking about planting bougainvilleas in container planting (needs to be in containers due to the layout of the garden). My only concern is that it it can get a little bit messy. There's a pool and tiles all around this small garden). It gets very hot in this location so I need climbers which are tough yet contemporary looking which pairs well with the Trachelospermum asiaticum/Jasminoides.

How about Trachelospermum, aka Star Jasmine?
