Title: Garden vandalism
Post by: Umbrian on July 26, 2018, 06:45:12 AM
Yesterday I placed some newly potted on, rooted cuttings, along the edge of the boundary wall of a raised bed thinking that any surplus moisture from watering would help the Erigeron planted at intervals along it and well past it's best  after weeks of hot, dry summer weather. My ' friends', the blackbirds that frequent the garden,  took advantage of the moist compost and I was greeted this morning by this completely uprooted plant. Have to forgive them though they give me so much pleasure accompanying me whenever I am out working...............
