Title: Salvia guaranatica 'Villa Devoto'
Post by: David Dickinson on July 16, 2018, 02:03:36 AM
Hi Charithea and John

Good to hear the the Salvias have taken for you. I posted a photo of this plant a couple of years ago without realising it was 'Villa Devoto' which is a low growing form which suckers outwards. I had it in totally the wrong spot as I was expecting it to grow taller than the plants around it. Now that I have learnt, it has been moved. After being cut to the ground with the terrible cold snap we had this year it now looks like this photo taken at dusk today. The photo of the flower was taken a couple of weeks ago. I am sure you will like yours when it comes into flower. Well worth the wait.
