Title: Salvia sclarea: opportunities to swap with other (perennial) aromatic herbs?
Post by: cerg on May 11, 2018, 10:38:29 PM
Dear all,

We have a small botanic garden and we are trying to develop an aromatic herbs sections roughly based on the a "hortus conclusus". We have a very small budget, hence we try to grow the garden by exchanges, reproducing plants from seeds and donations.

This year we have an abundance of plants of Salvia sclarea and would love to swap them for other Mediterranean aromatics or Mediterranean shrubs. We only collect botanical specimen of Eurasian origin (the focus of our garden). In particular we are looking for various species of Eurasian thymus, various species of Eurasian salvia, mandragora (officinarum and autumnalis), hyoscyamus niger, etc.

Thank you in advance!
