A friend gave me a plant of her Horminium pyrenaicum (which I had admired in her garden) but I suspect this is not the same plant and is actually a salvia and not S.horminium!
The basal foliage is silvery and the calyces are particularly spiky in appearance.
Any ideas as to its identity?
