Title: Sweet Aromatic wildflower in Croatia ID'd by Oron Peri as Helichrysum italicum
Post by: joekemp on August 14, 2017, 07:02:48 AM
Hi Everyone

I'd really appreciate some help in identifying this flower. I'm only just getting into flowers and would like to built my knowledge of Aromatic plants in general.

I found this on a rocky coastal mountainside in Croatia (The Dalmatian coast) , it was small but full of a sweet turmeric type aroma, it was intoxicating, I would love to know the name to be able to find this aroma again.

Thanks for any help :-)
