Caroline Harbouri, editor of our journal The Mediterranean Garden (http://www.mediterraneangardensociety.org/journal.html), has just told me about an excellent recent speech at the UK House of Commons, made by Rory Stewart. (He's a junior Minister at the Department of the Environment, though strongly tipped for the Defence Ministry.) Such a shame that only about ten MPs were present to enjoy it!
