We had a nice welcome back to our house in the country having returned yesterday - a porcupine deposited its calling card on the mat outside the back door overnight - just right for me to step onto when taking my morning coffe outside. It has obviously been gorging on the fallen cherries......back to the reality of gardening in rural Umbria :)
