You all know about my pistachio's grafts,is it?
So...I noticed that the only good graft of pistachio I had has some spots on the bark!
Someone told me that it is cochineal, what do you think about it?
If it is cochineal, what have I to do?

Cochineal is an insect but the red thing on your graft looks more like a plant bud.

uahahahah no my friend I don't mean it, I'm talking about those small yellowish spots on the bark...
-
I tried to scratch one and it went completely away and left the green below as big as the dimension of the spot!
-
It does look like a scaly bug, which one is hard to say.
-
this is another one with spots...you cann see near the bud different spots...
can I give mineral oil at 1,5-2%?

Looks more like Anapulvinaria pistaciae.

ok thanks!
but if I'll give mineral oil or Clorpirifos-metile and at the end it will not be cochinel, would I risk to kill the graft?
Can I give a spray insecticide or have I to give it with a paintbrush to avoid to wet the little buds?
