Title: Climber Nursery
Post by: Daisy on August 01, 2011, 03:47:43 PM: Does anybody know of a nursery that specialises in Mediterranean and sub tropical climbing plants?
Whenever I try to google a climber like Thunbergia grandiflora, for example, all I get is nurseries in the U.S.A.
There is not much in Europe it seems.

This nursery is in Sicily, and has a huge collection of Pelargonium (the whole lot: mostly scented-leaved and botanical, but also hundreds of vars including star-flowered, cactus flowered, variegated, mini, macrantha etc etc) plus many Jasminum, which would do wonders for you.
(As a side bonus, they run a lovely bed and breakfast)
By the way, I find that pelargoniums are great ground cover for half shaded or shaded spots in our climate, that is how we grow them here.

My order arrived three days later to S France and only £24 delivery for eight plants. So helpful and reasonable.
