Joanna, I understand that yoghurt can be used to age terracotta pots and brick.

In the separate thread on spraying grapes (http://www.mgsforum.org/smf/index.php?topic=1218.msg8460#msg8460) that Alice refers to, David Bracey suggests using a dilute solution of farmyard manure for ageing stone etc. We tried this (in the UK) on some new stone paving slabs to blend them in more quickly with older ones, and it worked well.
